Role Description The Neuropsychological and Psychological Testing Specialist is either a full or part time position based in St. Charles, IL. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessments, including test administration, scoring, and interpretation for children, adolescents, and adults. Day-to-day tasks include selecting appropriate test batteries, preparing testing materials, managing appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of findings in clinical records. The specialist will collaborate with therapists and other clinicians to integrate test results into treatment planning and provide clear, timely feedback to clients, families, and referring professionals. Additional responsibilities may involve participating in case consultations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of assessment tools and best practices, and contributing to a collaborative, client-centered clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret test data, identify patterns, and generate clear, clinically useful reports.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Testing, including selection, administration, and scoring of neuropsychological and psychological assessment instruments.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Test Cases and structured assessment protocols to ensure reliability, validity, and consistency in evaluation processes.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain results to clients and families in accessible language and collaborate effectively with clinical colleagues.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Software Testing concepts as they apply to using and troubleshooting digital assessment platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Advanced degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD in Clinical, Counseling, or Neuropsychology, or equivalent) or master’s-level training with specialized assessment experience preferred.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction (e.g., Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) as required for independent practice.
• Experience working with diverse age groups and presenting concerns in outpatient mental health settings is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a consistent caseload while meeting documentation and ethical standards.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, cultural humility, and maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
