What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Fox Chiropractic Wellness Center?
Our growing chiropractic office is looking for a welcoming, friendly face to greet our patients! Ideal candidate is energetic, organized, well spoken and have a great ability to adapt to different situations. The position is enjoyable, but challenging and fast paced at times. We are currently looking to fill 1pm-6pm.
We offer chiropractic care, acupuncture and massage therapy. Experience in reception, office, medical office, and/or insurance is encouraged but not required. Training on our EHR and scheduling system, as well as texting system will occur, and ideal candidate would be able to navigate the systems within the appropriate training time.
Essential Job Functions include:
-Welcoming our patients and making them feel at ease
-Scheduling patients
-Completing transactions using ChiroTouch (EHR) software and ensuring all patient accounts are current and accurate
-Managing patient flow
-Maintaining an organized workplace
-Verifying insurance benefits via online portals or calling insurance companies
Position Requirements include:
-Having a bright and outgoing personality
-Excellent communication skills, with strong phone customer service skills
-Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with patients, staff and the public
-Great attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
-Working well under pressure and having an optimistic attitude
-Excellent attendance and punctuality
The position hours are Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm. However, end time would be dictated by the when the last patient leaves the office (we are open 9am- 6pm). Also availability to be on-call to open when needed.
