CASHIER

Fox Bros. BBQ is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier. As the first point of contact for our customers, the Cashier plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and Assist Customers: Welcome customers as they enter the establishment, inquire about their dining preferences, and provide guidance on menu options. Answer any questions customers may have regarding menu items, pricing, or specials.
2. Process Orders: Accurately and efficiently process customer orders using the POS (Point of Sale) system. Ensure that all items are entered correctly, apply any discounts or promotions as necessary, and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions securely.
3. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier station and surrounding areas clean and organized at all times. This includes wiping down surfaces, restocking utensils and condiments, and disposing of trash as needed.
4. Handle Customer Inquiries and Concerns: Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Assist in resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service. Communicate effectively to relay order information and coordinate tasks as needed.
6. Promote Specials and Promotions: Inform customers about any ongoing specials, promotions, or upcoming events. Encourage customers to participate and upsell additional items to enhance their dining experience.
7. Follow Safety and Sanitation Guidelines: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures, hygiene practices, and sanitation standards. Help maintain a safe and clean environment for both customers and staff.
8. Miscellaneous tasks.

1. Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
4. Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
5. Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional service.
6. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
