Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Fox Behavior Group
Carmel, IN Full Time
POSTED ON 3/31/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/30/2026

Fox Behavior Group is hunting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic crew!

This isn’t just any job—it’s an opportunity to make a real impact! Our dedicated staff is passionate about working with kids with autism – and we’ve seen how our therapies have positively impacted lives, parents and families. We are dedicated to offering individualized, trauma informed care that prioritizes teaching assent-based programs and goals. As a BCBA with us, you'll design, evaluate, and administer programs that transform the lives of clients on the autism spectrum. You’ll be the go-to expert, working closely with client groups and honing your skills in training, consultation, data analysis, program development, case management, and long-term planning.

As a BCBA at Fox Behavior Group, you will design and evaluate individualized programs, mentor a talented RBT team, collaborate across disciplines, and serve as a champion for each client’s progress. You will report to a BCBA Lead, who reports to the Clinical Lead, and are expected to champion Fox Behavior Group's values daily while setting the standard for clinical excellence and professionalism.

Essential Job Functions

Clinical Services & Treatment Planning

  • Update and maintain treatment plans using VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R, and other evidence-based assessments — only utilizing empirically supported ABA practices that fall within your scope of competence, keeping each client’s program dynamic, current, and impactful.
  • Write, update, and submit treatment plans to the Insurance Team in a timely manner, ensuring clinical documentation meets all payer and authorization requirements.
  • Design and implement individualized assessment tools; conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), analyze results, and craft behavior intervention strategies that build skills and reduce barriers to learning.
  • Summarize, analyze, and interpret clinical data regularly to evaluate and report client progress toward treatment goals — making confident, data-driven programming decisions with every chart you review.
  • Adjust treatment protocols promptly and purposefully when data indicates a change in approach is needed — always keeping the client’s best outcomes front and center.
  • Support client goal attainment by reviewing treatment plan criteria every two months and consulting proactively to hit or exceed targeted utilization benchmarks — aiming for at least 80% of authorized units per insurance treatment plan.
  • Monitor treatment integrity across your caseload, ensuring sessions are delivered with fidelity and consistency, and ensuring satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols at all times.
  • Develop and oversee individualized transition and discharge plans to support smooth, well-prepared transitions for clients and families.
  • Maintain a maximum caseload of 8 clients, ensuring each receives the clinical attention and quality of care they deserve.
  • Maintain schedule availability for at least one consultation per week for after-school clients and programs.
  • Document all provision of services thoroughly and accurately in accordance with payer, regulatory, and organizational requirements.

RBT Supervision & Team Development

  • Provide high-quality, BACB-compliant supervision to your RBT team — a minimum of 5% of each RBT’s total service hours — with a focus on skill building, professional confidence, and clinical fidelity.
  • Supervise implementation of treatment across supervised sessions, actively monitoring for treatment integrity and addressing implementation barriers with care and clarity.
  • Guide and train RBTs in evidence-based ABA teaching techniques; lead team meetings to review programming, celebrate wins, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct structured RBT Check-Ins every six weeks (eight per year) to support professional growth, address concerns, and reinforce a culture of open feedback.
  • Be the go-to resource, coach, and feedback partner for your RBT team — approachable, solutions-focused, and always ready to invest in their growth.
  • Deliver constructive, timely, and documented feedback; provide coaching and, when necessary, implement appropriate disciplinary action for team members in collaboration with the BCBA Lead.
  • Comply with all applicable BACB supervision standards, including thorough documentation of supervision hours and activities.

Caregiver & Family Collaboration

  • Build meaningful, trust-based partnerships with parents and caregivers through consistent communication, active collaboration, and empathetic engagement — while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries at all times.
  • Conduct monthly caregiver guidance sessions: set and monitor client goals, track caregiver progress, and train and consult with families to support skill generalization at home and in the community.
  • Consult with caregivers and relevant outside professionals as an integral part of each client’s comprehensive treatment team, ensuring families are equipped and informed at every step.
  • Maintain clear, open communication with all family members and team members regarding program updates, data trends, and any modifications to the treatment plan.

Documentation, Scheduling & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Complete and upload consult notes during or following each consultation session to the appropriate channel or platform for that program — keeping the whole team aligned and informed in real time.
  • Update Aloha daily with your own consulting, assessment, therapy, and parent training hours to ensure all time is accurately captured for weekly billing.
  • Review and approve RBT team members’ timesheets weekly to support accurate payroll and billing.
  • Communicate scheduling changes promptly to the client, relevant RBTs, and the Clinical and Scheduling Coordinators as needed.
  • Scan, organize, and archive all pertinent client files, data, and session notes on the organization’s designated file storage system — maintaining a clean, compliant, and accessible record.
  • Attend and actively participate in bi-weekly Clinical Team Meetings and All-Staff Meetings (held three times per year).

Ethics, Safety & Compliance

  • Champion the BACB Ethics Code in every interaction — acting in accordance with all applicable ethical codes of conduct and modeling professional integrity, confidentiality, and respect for client rights and dignity at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all risk management and crisis management protocols, keeping clients, families, and staff safe in every setting.
  • Uphold HIPAA standards and Fox Behavior Group’s privacy and confidentiality policies across all client communications and documentation.
  • Maintain all credentials, licensure, and continuing education requirements in good standing, including a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential or equivalent ABA graduate-level credential as required.
  • Participate in organizational quality assurance efforts, clinical audits, and compliance initiatives as directed.
