Seeking In-Office Litigation Paralegal

At our Seattle and Tacoma offices, experienced attorneys and staff are dedicated to providing outstanding results for clients. Fox Ballard’s legal services include advising and representing healthcare entities and professionals in defending medical malpractice, administrative, civil rights, and general liability claims.
Fox Ballard is currently seeking a talented Paralegal to join our team in support of the Tacoma office in Medical Malpractice and General Liability Litigation. This position is an in-office position, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5pm. Paralegal Job Duties Include:
- Case management from inception through appeal
- Draft pleadings, discovery, correspondence, medical authorizations
- Collect records and prepare medical chronologies
- Prepare for and attend trial
- Reviewing and analysis of documents, experience with medical terminology is preferred
- Legal research, experience with Lexis Nexis is preferred
Future Team members with experience in the following are preferred:
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Familiarity with billable timekeeping
- Working knowledge of WA State and Federal Civil Rules
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong writing and analytical skills
Ongoing training and mentorship will be provided.
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, and qualifications.
