Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist with all clinical procedures, including bonding, debonding, wire changes, Invisalign attachments, impressions and appliance placement.
- Take and process digital radiographs, photos and iTero scans.
- Lead, mentor, and support the clinical team while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
- Ensure each patient receives a personalized, five-star experience from start to finish.
- Train and onboard new clinical team members and help maintain consistency in clinical protocols.
- Manage patient flow to keep appointments on time while maintaining quality care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, oral hygiene, and appliance care.
- Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of orthodontic assisting experience.
- Previous leadership or lead assistant experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification and Dental Assistant Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Passion for creating meaningful relationships with patients and teammates.
