We are hiring a Sales Management Trainee to direct the customer onboarding process for Verizon. Here, the Sales Management Trainee will ensure that field teams in New Jersey execute activations with precision, transforming new customers into long-term advocates of the Verizon network.
As a Sales Management Trainee, you’ll mentor representatives on technical proficiency, brand messaging, and customer empathy—equipping them to confidently guide users through mobile device setup, Verizon onboarding, and plan optimization. The Sales Management Trainee’s leadership will directly elevate the consistency, accuracy, and warmth of every Verizon-supported interaction.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Management Trainee
- Engage with customers promoting effective wireless and home Verizon service solutions tailored to their needs, demonstrating a good example to sales teams.
- Lead daily Verizon mobile activations, ensuring team readiness, customer satisfaction, and seamless execution of connectivity services.
- Train and mentor field sales representatives, delivering real‑time coaching to strengthen mobile sales skills and activation success.
- Coordinate onboarding workflows by managing customer eligibility checks, documentation flow, and mobile device activation scheduling for smooth service setup.
- Achieve individual and team sales and performance goals set for the Sales Management Trainee.
- Track account status, provisioning progress, and campaign performance metrics to optimize mobile service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot activation challenges, align promotional messaging, and recommend tailored Verizon service upgrades.
Minimum Qualifications of the Sales Management Trainee
- High school diploma or GED preferred; bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or marketing an asset.
- Experience in customer support, outreach, or sales, with exposure to team leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain service options clearly and build trust with diverse communities.
- Detail-oriented and tech-savvy, capable of managing documentation, tracking service milestones, and using company tools effectively.
- Energetic, organized, and adaptable, with a passion for helping others and a commitment to community engagement.
