Duties

- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support during emergencies or high-stress situations
- Coordinate with child protective services to ensure the safety of vulnerable children and facilitate necessary protective actions
- Offer counseling and support to clients dealing with family law issues, disabilities, or high-risk circumstances
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service plans, and case progress using Microsoft Office tools
- Engage with culturally diverse communities to deliver respectful and effective social services that honor individual backgrounds
- Conduct client communication through active listening, clear writing skills, and empathetic engagement to foster trust and cooperation
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in social work, child welfare, or family services settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk populations with sensitivity and professionalism
- Proficiency in crisis management techniques including first aid and CPR certification is essential
- Strong communication skills paired with bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse populations effectively
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in social services roles supporting vulnerable groups is advantageous
- Familiarity with child protective services procedures, family law, conflict management, and childcare practices is desirable
