Our client, a growing fashion accessories company, is seeking a Product Developer / Merchandiser to manage development across kids and women’s accessory categories including belts, bags, backpacks, and cold weather.
This role will oversee product development from concept through production, working closely with design, sales, and overseas vendors. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage product development and sample process with overseas factories
- Support concept development, CADs/Illustrator work, and trend research
- Track costing and maintain development documentation
- Prepare customer presentations and line sheets
- Assist with showroom merchandising and product organization
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in accessories product development
- Experience with belts, bags, backpacks, or cold weather accessories required
- Strong Excel and Adobe/Illustrator skills
- Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
