Designer- Missy Dresses

Our a client, a retail manufacturing company is seeking a Designer for Missy's Dresses to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of seasonal product assortments.
• Research market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive activity.
• Create design concepts, presentation materials, sketches, and development documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process.
• Participate in fit sessions and provide input on product construction, quality, and overall design execution.
• Communicate with external partners and vendors.
• Assist in the selection and development of materials, trims, prints, and other product details.
• Contribute to product presentations and support internal and external meetings as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining development timelines
• Stay informed on industry trends.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience.
• Ability to translate trends and consumer insights.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and manufacturing partners.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software and digital design tools.
• Strong sketching, presentation, and technical communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and the retail landscape.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.

Full Time On Site

Salary: $80k-$100k
