Associate Director of Data Science & Analytics

Our client, a globally recognized heritage brand, is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive data strategy and oversee analytics initiatives as the Associate Director of Data Science & Analytics.

*This is a hybrid role*

Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement best practices in data science to advance the Digital Americas business
• Lead the design and delivery of AI/ML models (e.g., churn, pricing, LTV) to drive business results
• Deliver hands-on leadership in data science and ML, guiding model, algorithm, and MLOps development
• Collaborate with global teams to enhance data architecture in line with strategic objectives
• Drive Americas’ request prioritization in global systems, overseeing development, QA, and rollout
• Drive integration of Americas tools into DWH, Liftlab, and Analytics platforms
• Collaborate with Digital Americas to refine data, deliver insights, and support decision-making
• Lead web analytics audits, maintaining accurate tagging and reporting of key metrics
• Manage data/analytics third party vendor relationships from onboarding to ongoing optimization
• Build and manage analytics tools to support revenue growth and business accountability
• Assess performance metrics to guide optimization of marketing, product, and digital experiences
• Monitor trends in analytics and AI to advance team skills and capabilities
• Oversee and mentor the Business Analyst, encouraging growth and collaboration
• Provide ad hoc analysis and cross-functional reports as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative field
• 8–12 years of experience in eCommerce and Digital Marketing Data Science & Analytics
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and/or R (SAS a plus) with advanced modeling, ML, and experimental design skills
• Experienced with AWS/GCP/Azure, Spark/Databricks/Snowflake, ML frameworks, and visualization platforms
• Experienced in web analytics and converting digital KPIs into business insights
• Knowledgeable in MLOps, containerization, CI/CD, and version control
• Skilled in analyzing complex data and delivering actionable insights
• Proficient with GA, A/B testing, MMM tools, Optimizely, data warehouses, CDPs, SFCC, and social analytics
