Our client, an apparel wholesale company, is looking for an Assistant Product Development Manager to join their ladies and juniors sleep and lounge team!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the product development for ladies and juniors sleep and lounge wear
- Attend seasonal design development meetings
- Coordinate and follow up with testing on new fabric developments
- Maintain and submit 3D fabric and trim libraries
- Manage print and color approvals
- Communicate and follow up with factories
- Organize, track, and update sample status
- Support in the initial sourcing and costing of all fabric and trim components
- Work with the technical design team for specs, patterns, and fittings
- Adhere to PD calendar and deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in fashion merchandising or other related degree preferred
- 4-5 years of product development experience
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Chinese speaking is a huge plus
