About the role Looking for an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in luxury Food and Beverage this summer, while working in a vibrant poolside environment? Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Seasonal Pool Server Assistant to join our dedicated team, where attentive service, accuracy, and guest satisfaction are at the heart of every interaction. In this role, you will assist with food and beverage delivery, table setup and breakdown, and anticipate guest needs to ensure a seamless, enjoyable poolside experience. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and professional individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are committed to delivering exceptional service to every guest. What you will do Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen and drinks from the bar and safely transporting and delivering them to the guests ensuring accuracy and timeliness, as well as removal of items from the guest’s tables, chairs and or cabanas and suites. Accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen team, servers and bartenders. Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, dish breakdown areas, and expo stations. Placemat Sanitizing. Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, plates and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner. Stock linen, china, plates, silver and glassware for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition; assist in preparation of smaller items such as condiments, pool service trays and placemats or beverages. Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverages and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate the guest’s needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to the guest’s concerns and requests. What you bring 1 year(s) previous experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet. Previous experience as a busser or food runner is preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred. A positive, approachable, and professional attitude, with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic, service-driven environment. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. The ability to multi-task while under pressure. The ability to carry and balance a tray with multiple items. Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
