Responsibilities
- Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and handling materials with precision.
- Operate powder coating equipment, to apply durable finishes.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, disassemble, or modify parts as needed during the coating process.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and cranes, ensuring proper storage and transportation within the facility.
- Conduct spot checks to ensure finish quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with fabrication or material processing when required, utilizing a band saw and drill press.
Requirements
- Prior experience with warehouse operations, manufacturing environments, or industrial painting is preferred.
- Knowledge of forklift operation, crane handling, and materials handling procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, auto painting, or auto body repair is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform basic math calculations accurately.
