Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Member Value Personal Banker based in Port Jefferson Station, NY. The Member Value Personal Banker will assist members in achieving their financial goals by providing personalized banking solutions and exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include opening and managing member accounts, assisting with loan applications, offering financial advice, and addressing member inquiries. The role also involves cross-selling credit union products and actively contributing to the overall satisfaction of customers.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
• Knowledge of financial products and services, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit programs
• Proficiency in problem-solving, attention to detail, and financial advising
• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Sales-oriented mindset with experience in cross-selling financial products
• Proficiency in using banking software and computer systems
• Previous experience in financial services or a similar customer-focused role is preferred
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is an advantage
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
