What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at FOURJAY/SLIMS?
The Staff Accountant is responsible for processing day to day accounting tasks of the company. This includes but is not limited to; bank reconciliations, cash flow management, expense reporting and processing, period end journal entries and additional related functions. Under the direction of the CFO, the Staff Accountant will work closely with the Controller to ensure the period financial reports are prepared timely, accurately, and in alignment with company standards. In addition to the primary responsibilities, the role involves shared job duties and responsibilities across other entities, including Simply Slims AR and AL.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent
- General knowledge of accounting rules and principles.
- 1 years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn
- Ability to read, analyze, create and interpret general business memos and documents
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot and problem solve during day to day tasks.
- Ability to make good decisions and adapt to changing situations.
- Drivers License, a good driving record, and have access to a vehicle.
