Large Format Print Operator
Fourg Athletics produces premium helmet decals, custom athletic apparel and graphics for teams across the country. We're looking for a detail-oriented production professional to take ownership of our large format print department.
This position is focused primarily on operating our digital print equipment, producing high-quality helmet decals and graphics, while also assisting with heat press production as needed.
Approximately 75% of your time will be spent in large format printing and finishing, with the remaining time supporting heat press production during peak periods.
We operate in a quality-first production environment where organization, consistency, and attention to detail matter.
This is not an entry-level warehouse position. Previous experience with large format printing, sign production, vinyl graphics or related production equipment is strongly preferred. We will provide hands-on training for the right candidate on our specific equipment and workflow.
Primary Responsibilities
Large Format Printing (Primary Focus)
- Operate Roland large format printers, cutters, and laminator
- Operate Gerber Edge FX thermal printer
- Prepare print files and manage production through VersaWorks and Gerber Omega
- Produce helmet decals, vinyl graphics, labels, and specialty print products
- Perform trimming, weeding, masking, and finishing work
- Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and basic maintenance
- Inspect every job for color consistency, registration, cut accuracy, and overall quality
- Maintain inventory of vinyl, laminate, foils, and print materials
Heat Press Production (Secondary Focus)
- Operate Hotronix Fusion IQ heat presses
- Apply DTF and screen printed transfers to athletic apparel
- Verify garment placement, alignment, temperature, pressure, and finished quality
- Assist with production during high-volume periods
General Production
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation
- Follow written SOPs and production workflow
- Accurately update production status throughout the day
- Help maintain an efficient production environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating large format printers, sign equipment, or digital production equipment
- Experience with Roland, Mimaki, HP Latex, Gerber, or similar equipment is a plus
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning production software
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- High attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems independently

- Consistent attendance and reliability

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
