Job Title: QA Analyst Manual & Automation Testing
We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst to support a large-scale application modernization project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing, UAT, test automation, API testing, and Agile/Scrum environments. This role will work closely with business users and technical teams to create and execute test cases and improve overall test coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for modernized applications.
- Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to improve test coverage and reduce repetitive testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
- Work with business users and various business areas to understand requirements and testing needs.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Perform database validation using SQL Server/SQL.
- Participate in an Agile/Scrum project team.
- Support testing of modernized applications, APIs, portals, and other enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, or other automation tools.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in manual software testing and UAT.
- Experience with test automation and automated test script development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Jira and Zephyr for Jira.
- Experience with SQL Server/SQL for data validation.
- Experience with Postman/API testing.
- Experience with Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, or other test automation tools.
- Experience with ADA/Section 508 accessibility testing.
- Experience with AI-assisted or AI-powered software testing.
- Strong experience creating, executing, and documenting test cases and defects.
- Experience testing modernized enterprise applications.
- Experience with web portals and ServiceNow applications.
- Experience with WCAG accessibility testing/compliance.
- Experience working with business users during UAT.
- Experience in government or large enterprise environments is a plus.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within an Agile/Scrum team.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, developers, and other QA professionals.
