Sheetrock Installer/ Finisher

In this role, you'll take charge of installing drywall, finishing surfaces with precision, and ensuring every project meets high-quality standards. Duties

• Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets accurately according to project specifications and schematics
• Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, and applying texture for a seamless appearance
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine layout and material requirements for each project
• Perform related tasks such as framing with metal studs or wood, installing doors, trim carpentry, and caulking to ensure complete finishes
• Apply plastering techniques and handle water damage restoration tasks when needed to restore damaged surfaces
• Collaborate with team members on site to coordinate installation schedules and quality standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely to complete projects efficiently

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on drywall installation and finishing
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
• Knowledge of plastering, taping, sanding, and texture application techniques
• Hands-on experience with framing (metal stud or wood), door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting preferred
• Background in restoration industry work or mold remediation is a plus
• Ability to operate construction tools safely and follow safety protocols at all times
• Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and material handling
