We are currently seeking applicants for a full time Technical Support Specialist to be a member of our IT team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to
- First line triaging and prioritizing of all Information Technology service requests within the hospital system (Four Winds Katonah and Saratoga).
- Serve as the frontline troubleshooting support to achieve high rate of first call resolution.
- Assistance may include telephone, online or in-person interactions.
- This position will also include being part of the on-call rotation for evenings and weekends support. Note: Except for on-call support, this is an on premise position.
- The Specialist works closely with the network/systems and programmer analysts to monitor system performance issues and notify end-users of any downtime.
- Daily work schedule may fluctuate depending on the needs of the department.
The specialist supports all aspects of hospital telephony services (Four Winds Katonah and Saratoga) including participation in vendor contracting efforts, coordinating all telephony services and serving as the primary liaison to telephony vendors.
Qualifications:
Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred. Certified computer technician preferred. 1-3 years of experience as a computer technician providing technical support is preferred.
The annual salary is $62,000 with a generous benefit package including, but not limited to, generous vacation & holiday time, employer funded retirement plan, 401k, health & dental insurance, life insurance, flexible spending plan for both healthcare and dependent care expenses.
