SUMMARY: 

Responsible for the execution of gift events and promotional drawings as directed by management. Supervises the Lead Events Representatives and Events Representatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Executes all gift promotional events and promotional drawings at Four Winds New Buffalo as directed by management.
  • Supervises, trains and evaluates Events staff.
  • Executes and ensures compliance by Events staff for all procedures relating to gift promotional events and promotional drawings.
  • Prepares payout forms for promotional drawings.
  • Oversees and maintains promotional product inventory.
  • Prepares inventory levels for satellite properties as directed by management.
  • Ensures efficient staffing levels at promotional gift events, concerts, and special events.
  • Schedules Events staff, including staff needed for gift promotional events and promotional drawings.
  • Collaborates with the Entertainment Coordinator to utilize Events staff for entertainment event functions, including staff for Silver Creek concerts, Silver Creek VIP player events and Hard Rock Café events.
  • Facilitates the flow of information throughout the department by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with Events staff.
  • Communicates with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolves concerns quickly and efficiently

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises Lead Event Representatives and Event Representatives.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

G.E.D preferred. Two to three years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Supervisory experience preferred. 

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.

This position requires a Level 2 Gaming License 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.  Ability to write effective reports and memos.  Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests.  Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to interpret data from graphs.  

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.   

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation.  The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.  A casino environment is typically smoky.
