Summary:
This role is responsible for sales in the Southern California market for Four Wheel Campers. This market is the second largest for the company.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Customer Contact - act as the first point of contact for potential customers by answering inquiries via
phone, email, and in-person in our showroom.
Leads - follow up with leads and maintain an organized sales pipeline. Fully utilize the company’s CRM
system.
Relationships - build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide
the best camper solutions.
Product Knowledge - be an expert on the company’s products and educate customers about the
features, benefits, and customization options.
Demonstrations - provide product demonstrations and answer technical questions.
Sales Process - guide customers through the sales process, including quotes, financing options, and
delivery timelines.
Sales Goals - meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Shows - attend trade events and community activities to promote Four Wheel Campers.
Content - create content with pictures and video, and after installations.
Collaborate – work with the customer service and production planning teams to ensure customer
satisfaction and timely delivery.
Trends - stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to provide informed
recommendations to customers.
Showroom – keep the showroom clean and properly set up with the latest model campers, with the
newest options.
Meetings - attend and participate in weekly sales and marketing meetings.
Working Hours – Tuesday – Saturday 8 AM – 5 PM, with some Weekends during peak demand periods
and trade event season.
Preferred Qualifications:
Sales - proven 10 years of overall experience in sales, preferably in the outdoor, automotive, or
recreational vehicle industry.
Communication - excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
with diverse customers.
Customer Focus - strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
Initiative - self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
Industry and Passion - knowledge of off-road camping or outdoor activities.
Technical Acumen - ability to understand technical product details and explain them clearly to
customers.
CRM - familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools. HubSpot experience is a plus.
Microsoft – good knowledge of Outlook and Excel software.
Availability - must be willing and able to work some 12-day intervals when doing trade shows 4-5 times
per year.
Organization – ability to be organized and streamlined with required work.
Education - Bachelor's degree preferred in business or related field.
Physical Demands:
Able to stand or walk for long periods, during an 8-hour shift.
Lift 25-50 pounds.
Able to bend stoop & kneel to enter camper on truck.
Able to assist with installation if needed.
