Leasing Agent

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Agent to effectively showcase and lease properties to potential lessees. The primary objective is to identify promising clients, convert them into actual lessees, and achieve optimal occupancy rates. Job Responsibilities
Manage leasing inquiries and CRM queue
- Review assigned and priority property leads in the CRM queue
- Answer leasing calls and emails
- Return all voicemails and texts
Showings
- Setup tours and appointments
- Notify prospects when tours are set, moved, and canceled
- Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
- Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospect customers
- Execute tours and close leases
- Populate showing notes and communicate with the Leasing Manager
- Show up on-time every time
- Dress in professional clothing
Property Management Assistance
- Pitch in to cover Front of House
- Organize keys for move-in pickup
- Work with our locksmith during a turnover to acquire keycodes as needed
Basic Requirements and Work Experience
- Must have valid drivers license.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree or above is preferred.
- Experience with Low Income/Affordable Housing strongly preferred.
- Proven working experience as leasing agent.
- Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices.
- Proven track record of successful sales.
- Up to date with property market status.
- Familiarity with MS Office and Yardi software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Persuasive with marketing and sales skills.
- A willingness to come in every day and help us improve upon what we did yesterday.
- Customer service orientation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
- Will require driving between company locations.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly pay in the range of $28.00-$29.00 per hour
