We are looking for an individual who has worked at catering, restaurants, event venues or corporate event planning. They will need to already understand: Guest count, last minute changes, deliveries, event timeline, food service terminology among other catering specifics.
Located in the Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. This role is to assist the General Manager in administrative tasks, such as phone communication, following up on leads, maintaining records, with clerical responsibilities that include filing invoices, Drafting letters, organizing and staying up to date with staff certifications. It involves providing assistance with day-to-day office operations to ensure the efficient coordination of catering services and events.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in clerical skills, maintaining contact database, managing the calendar
- Strong ability in phone etiquette and effective communication to call different businesses
- Must have outstanding knowledge & able to effectively post on SOCIAL MEDIA
- Attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with event planning, event coordination & the catering industry as a whole
- Must be organized & tech - savvy. Must be able to use Excel & Google sheets
