Responsibilities
- Provide evening turndown service to create a comfortable and welcoming sleep environment for guests.
- Refresh occupied guest rooms by replacing used towels, tidying the bedroom and bathroom, and maintaining hotel cleanliness standards.
- Prepare beds for nighttime use by turning down linens, arranging pillows, and ensuring the room is guest-ready.
- Close drapes, adjust lighting, and create a relaxing atmosphere by setting room ambiance according to hotel standards.
- Remove room service trays, dishes, and carts from guestrooms and transport them to designated service areas.
- Restock guest amenities, including toiletries, stationery, cotton products, and other in-room supplies as needed.
- Inspect occupied and vacant rooms to ensure cleanliness, proper presentation, and adequate inventory of guest supplies.
- Fold and organize guest clothing or personal items left in guestrooms while respecting guest privacy and hotel policies.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, defective equipment, and rooms that cannot be serviced due to privacy signs or guest requests.
- Support the Housekeeping team by assisting with room attendant duties, late check-out rooms, and other cleaning assignments as directed by management.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Basic level of English is required.
- High attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to push, pull, lift up to 40lbs.
- Ability to kneel, crouch and reach.
- Walk up to 8 hours per shift.
- Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
