The Master Data Team Leader is responsible for the establishment, execution, and maintenance of master data to ensure data integrity for the Four Seasons Family of Companies. Combine thorough knowledge of systems, integrations, master data and processes to provide effective solutions for business requirements. Act as a liaison between leadership, your team, data owners, end users, and IT.

- Provide business with timely and accurate essential core data.
- Maintain data quality by enforcing data standardization rules.
- Monitor accuracy of data entered by the master data team, work with team members to improve data entry errors, with the goal of all records entered correctly the first time.
- Establish a single source for critical data.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the master data efforts to support business processes, with consideration for integrations and upstream/downstream processes and applications.
- Lead efforts to ensure data consistency and integrity throughout the organization and IT applications, accounting for people, process, and technology components.
- Engage with business stakeholders (data owners) to understand data management processes, pain points and requirements. Offer and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the development of business processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for managing data, including data quality and security.
- Develop training to educate data owners and users on the importance of consistent and appropriate use of master data across all organizations.
- Ensure data consistency and synchronization across systems. Monitor areas of data non-compliance, resolve data quality issues, identify root cause. Implement corrective actions and process controls.
- Train, coach, and support master data coordinators to develop team and associate skills. Provide a positive example for the master data team.
- Direct, manage, and evaluate master data coordinators to ensure output meets stated business rules and requirements.
- Identify areas of data quality improvements, facilitate, and execute business process improvements.
- Validate and enter new master data requests, following data quality checks and validation rules.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in mater data
- Professional communication skills to converse with team members, external data providers, and management
- Experience and knowledge in the following:
- ERP, WMS, TMS or related systems
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; SQL a plus
- Ability to motivate and influence others in a positive and collaborative manner.
- Previous team leadership experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in data administration, design, and architecture
- Experience working with information security practices
- Valid Driver’s License
