Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy and attractive turf.
- Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like pathways and patios.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, trimming, pruning, and general landscape upkeep.
- Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems to support seasonal maintenance needs.
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and health assessments to promote growth and safety.
- Assist with construction projects involving landscape installation, hardscape features, or garden design enhancements.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience or strong knowledge of landscaping practices including lawn care, horticulture, and landscape maintenance.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems confidently.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus.
- Familiarity with gardening techniques, tree care (including trimming), and hardscape installation is highly desirable.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects safely.
- Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward client satisfaction and safety protocols. - Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work weekends, if needed.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
