The Role
As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems across Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.
This role is ideal for technicians who want autonomy in the field, strong support behind the scenes, and the ability to maximize income through skill and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform maintenance, clean-and-checks, diagnostics, and repairs
- Service furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and larger HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues efficiently and correctly
- Educate customers and recommend value-added repairs or upgrades
- Maintain a low callback rate through quality workmanship
- Operate independently using a company-provided service vehicle
- Stay current with new HVAC equipment and technologies
What We’re Looking For
- HVAC Trade School completion
- EPA Certification (Type I, II, or Universal)
- Residential and/or commercial HVAC service experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer communication and professionalism
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
- HVAC sales or estimating experience (preferred, not required)
