What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor position at Four Seasons Fitness Club?
SWIM INSTRUCTOR
DEPARTMENT: Aquatics
STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
SUMMARY: Responsible for teaching infants through adults how to swim, while safeguarding all participants from injury or drowning.
AVAILABILITY: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday 9 am - 12 pm
PREFERRED SKILLS: Swimming background preferred but will train the right person!!
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
-Instruct swimmers of all ages and ability levels in aquatic skills.
-Supervise and maintain a safe environment.
-Evaluate student progress and report to Swim Lesson Coordinator.
-Work as a team member on the aquatic staff to provide a high level of service to
members.
-Responds to member relation issues such as complaints, comments, and suggestions.
