Pay: $30.31/hr. plus a $5.25/hr. fringe benefit

Hours: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm

Job Description

Duties: Any applicant must be able to install, troubleshoot, maintain, diagnose and repair various commercial HVAC systems including low temp and ultra-low temp freezers, environmental growth chambers, fume hoods, hydronic heating, steam humidifiers, and various other equipment common to central utility plants, office spaces, and laboratory settings. Chiller operational experience desired. Building Management Systems and DDC experience are a plus. Much of the day will be spent performing preventive maintenance tasks and completing work requests for building occupants. Must be a self-starter and be able to work alone. Superior customer service skills are a must.

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Required By The Position

• Ability to climb and work at heights, walking and standing for extended periods of time, lifting, bending, pushing, and moving objects up to 75 pounds.
• Utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout.
• Familiar with DDC control systems.
