Organization: Four Seasons Young Men’s Christian Association
Location: Position supports the entire service area of FSYMCA
Job Title: Accountant
FLSA Status: Full-time or Part-time available
Reports to: Shawn Durham - CEO
Position Summary: This position, as a key administrator in the association, focuses on financial management and leadership, but includes membership, organizational management, and fundraising components. The director should have a good accounting knowledge base combined with excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College/University – Accounting or related field highly preferred.
Experience in the accounting field preferred.
Specific experience in the following areas would be preferred: Not-for-Profit Accounting, Budgeting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Organizational Management.
Strong computer program skills: Excel (required), Word (required), PowerPoint (preferred), and QuickBooks Online (preferred).
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (depending on availability). Expected to work a minimum of 40hours/week. Position requires working on evenings and weekends.
