IT Analyst I

The IT Analyst I is responsible for supporting the IT Sr. Manager and IT Analyst II in day-to-day information technology activities. Provide day-to-day technical support to team members, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently. This position conducts job duties in a manner that demonstrates a strong food safety culture which ensures the safety and quality of our products.

Summary/Objective

The IT Analyst I at Four Roses Bourbon will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of all technical and physical IT equipment. This position involves providing end-user support, maintaining IT systems, and assisting with various IT projects to enhance the company’s digital capabilities. The IT Analyst I is responsible for performing IT-related duties on a professional level in support of the IT Sr. Manager and the IT Analyst II. This position will serve as the first point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues, resolving them or escalating to higher-level support when necessary. This position will assist the other IT department team members with servers, network, security, and application administration.

Essential Functions Time Allocations

Major Responsibilities

Endpoint \ Cloud Administration 75%

• Provide end user support for computer systems (software, hardware) and equipment (printers, phones, mobile devices, etc.) Setup and configure mobile devices and workstations
• Install, configure, and update software applications as needed, ensuring compatibility and security. Repair hardware and peripherals
• Administers user accounts
• Maintains intranet web pages, lists, and basic workflows
• Provide training and guidance to new-hire team members on the use of IT systems and equipment, promoting best practices and efficient use of technology.
• Apply settings to computer systems and devices through group policy and MDM
• Deploy company images to computer systems
• Assist in analyzing and managing application systems to maximize availability and performance. Systems include: Entra ID, Office 365, SharePoint Online, file servers, print servers, monitoring systems, phone systems, point of sale systems, messaging systems, and productivity software.
• Experimentation and testing of IT equipment, network, and applications; additionally, conduct UAT exercises with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment of production and working changes.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Server Administration 10%

• Support the IT Sr. Manager in managing and maintaining servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Assist in planning, purchasing, configuration, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and retirement of server and storage hardware, virtualization platforms, hosted SaaS systems, and server operating systems.
• Assist with documentation of server infrastructure.
• Perform disaster recovery, planning and testing for hardware and software.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

Security Analyst 5%

• Configure and report on user permissions to various systems to ensure least privilege policy.
• Assist in analyzing and deploying policies to secure data on all devices and systems.
• Upgrade systems and administer patches as needed for enhanced functionality and security.
• Maintain device management software on team member-owned smart devices.
• Assist with PCI, HIPPA, NIST and other data security compliance policies.
• Implement information security principles and practices according to company policy.
• Proactively assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the network.

Network Administration 10%

• Assist in the administration and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Install, configure, and support the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintain network hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.

Continuous Improvement

• Proactively audits/ monitors common use- area like conference rooms, kiosks, hoteling desk, etc. to ensure functionality.
• Consult with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements for IT solutions.
• Analyzes end user support data and provide suggestions/ solutions to improve IT systems and infrastructure to support organizational growth and needs.
• Documenting IT systems, processes, and procedures.

Required Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in computer information systems or related field
• At least 2 years’ experience with server administration and other job- related experience
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems & hardware troubleshooting.
• Proven mid to high level skills with computer technologies/systems/applications including Office 365.
• Knowledge/Experience with networking and server administration
• Must have CompTIA Security or be able to obtain within 1 year of hire date.
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Education and Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience with server administration and other job- related experience
• Useful Application experience: MS Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Azure Cloud.
• Cisco Meraki Experience.
• Certifications in the field (A , N , MCP)

Job Related Information

Supervisory Responsibility

The IT Analyst will not have any direct reports other than vendors and contractors.

Work Environment

This position may require rare, but occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent IT issues or perform system maintenance. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration as could be expected in any OSHA compliant plant operation. The team member is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in the plant. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The duties shall be performed in an OSHA compliant manner.

Travel

Travel will be required between Kentucky locations. Travel could be required to other sites, cities, or countries to learn more about specific or general operations, equipment, or methods.
