Busy Urgent Care Clinic is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team!
Must be able to work the clinical floor
Must be comfortable serving as a phone nurse
Fast-paced, high-volume environment
Must be willing to work some weekends
Ideal Candidate:
- Certified MA
- Strong patient communication skills
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Urgent care or family practice experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform medical administrative duties including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and maintaining accurate records in the EHR system.
- Assist clinicians with routine patient care, including vitals, specimen collection, and basic clinical tasks as directed.
- Support pharmacology processes, patient education, and medication reconciliation while ensuring patient safety and privacy.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient flow in outpatient, urgent care, or hospital settings.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and quality standards in all patient interactions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
