We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Your expertise will help drive project success, from site preparation to finishing touches, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery to perform tasks including grading, digging, lifting, and material transportation.
- Manage and operate specialized vehicles like , dump trucks, water trucks, lowboy and end dump trucksto facilitate various construction processes.
- Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting foundations using appropriate machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections on equipment before and after use to ensure safety standards are met and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Follow project plans and safety protocols diligently while coordinating with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational reports for project documentation.
- Support other construction activities as required to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites.
- Mechanical knowledge helpful
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving trucks like dump trucks, tanker trucks, or water trucks.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor environments for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of construction processes involving dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators operations.
