Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Directs the daily operations of the clinic, including both medical and dental services.
- Oversees patient flow, ensuring timely access and coordination of care across disciplines.
- Ensure provider schedules are accurately maintained, blocked appropriately, and optimized for patient access and provider productivity.
- Serves as the on-sites decision-maker for operational issues, escalating to the COO as appropriate.
Staff SupervisionDevelopment
- Provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance management to Patient Services Representatives, nursing staff, Dental Assistants, and Community Health Workers.
- Fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, gather feedback, and reinforce organizational values.
- Coordinates staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and efficient patient flow.
Patient ExperienceQuality of Care
- Promotes a positive, welcoming and culturally sensitive patient experience.
- Ensures staff adhere to customer service standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional conduct.

- Assist with site budget development and monitor expenses against budget targets.
- Managers supply and equipment requests to maintain operational readiness and fiscal responsibility.
- Works with billing/revenue cycle staff to support accurate documentation and charge capture.
CollaborationCommunication
- Serves as the operational liaison between frontline staff, providers, and leadership.
- Collaborates with program directors, medical/dental leadership, and administrative teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Communicates regularly with the COO regarding operations performance, staffing concerns, and resource need.
