Join the Four Rivers Crew Four Rivers Charter Public School seeks an experienced, collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Student Services Team. Located in Greenfield, Massachusetts, Four Rivers is an EL Education college preparatory charter public school serving approximately 220 students in grades 7–12. Our mission is to educate young people for lives of learning and service through rigorous academics, meaningful community engagement, character development, and high-quality work. The Speech-Language Pathologist is an integral member of our interdisciplinary Student Services Team, partnering with teachers, advisors, interventionists, families, and administrators to ensure students have equitable access to learning and develop the communication skills needed to thrive in school and beyond. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with adolescents, values collaboration, and believes that communication is foundational to learning, belonging, and student success. Position Overview The Speech-Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech-language services for eligible students in grades 7–12 through evaluation, consultation, direct therapy, progress monitoring, and participation in the special education process. As part of Four Rivers' Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), the Speech-Language Pathologist collaborates with colleagues to strengthen inclusive practices and support student success. Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and prepare written reports. Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and special education team meetings. Develop and implement measurable IEP goals. Provide evidence-based individual and small-group speech-language therapy. Facilitate social communication, pragmatic language, and language-based support groups through our Tiered Support program. Collaborate with teachers to integrate communication strategies into classroom instruction. Consult regularly with families, educators, and related service providers. Participate in MTSS, Student Support Team, and IEP meetings. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation, including Medicaid documentation when applicable. Participate in faculty meetings, professional learning, and other responsibilities assigned by the Director of Student Services. Qualifications Required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license DESE licensure (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility Experience providing speech-language services in schools Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Preferred Experience working with middle and/or high school students Experience supporting students with autism, language-based learning disabilities, executive functioning needs, and social communication differences Familiarity with MTSS, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and inclusive instructional practices Commitment to culturally responsive and equitable educational practices

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
