Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Food Runner to join our team in our indoor dining restaurant The Dockside Grill. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the customers in a timely and efficient manner. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and accurately.
Duties:
- Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the appropriate tables
- Ensure that all food items are presented in an appealing manner
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth food delivery
- Assist with clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry is preferred
- Excellent guest services and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety guidelines
