We are seeking an energetic and dependable Shuttle Driver to join our dynamic transportation team! Duties
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles to transport passengers or cargo along specified routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring comfort and safety
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts, checking for maintenance issues such as fluid levels, tire pressure, and brake function
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays during shifts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using radios or other communication devices to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as cleaning the vehicle interior/exterior and reporting mechanical concerns to maintenance teams
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, including loading or unloading cargo or equipment safely
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles such as limousine or paratransit services
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required depending on vehicle type
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when needed
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and safety procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to stay alert during long shifts and maintain focus on safety at all times
