Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Sanitize bathrooms, ensuring all fixtures are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Replace used towels, linens, and other amenities in guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, such as lobbies and hallways.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, notifying supervisors of shortages.
- Interact with guests to address any concerns or requests regarding room cleanliness.
- Follow health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Complete daily cleaning tasks efficiently to meet hotel and brand standards.
Requirements
- 1 Year Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is required.
- Experience with Marriott brand is an asset.
- Must be available on weekends
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
