Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food and beverage operations across casual dining, quick service, or hotel restaurant settings to ensure smooth service flow and high-quality guest experiences
- Lead, motivate, and train staff on food preparation, customer service, POS systems Micros, and food safety protocols
- Oversee inventory control processes including stock levels, ordering, waste management, and food handling procedures to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and provide coaching to foster a motivated team environment
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and sanitation practices in all kitchen and dining areas
- Support hiring efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
Requirements
- Proven supervising or management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector with a focus on food service management
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with Micros POS; experience
- Strong background in inventory control, food safety standards (including HACCP), and kitchen management
- Previous experience working in casual dining, fine dining, quick service restaurants, or hotel restaurants is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
