Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging is seeking a dependable and organized professional to serve as the welcoming face of our organization.
This position plays a key role in supporting older adults across Northern Ottawa County by helping them access programs, services, and community connections.
This role is more than answering phones. You help create a warm, respectful environment while helping daily operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Member Support
- Welcome members and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member
- Assist with activity registrations and appointment scheduling
- Process memberships and enter information into My Senior Center software
Center Operations
- Prepare activity rooms and reception area each morning
- Assist with event setup and clean-up
- Complete daily front desk checklists
- Support end-of-day closing procedures, including securing doors
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Open and distribute incoming mail
- Enter deposits into financial tracking spreadsheets
- Handle cash, checks, and daily deposits responsibly
Organizational Support
- Provide administrative support to transportation, finance, and program departments
- Maintain accurate records, including medical equipment tracking
- Assist staff and volunteers as needed
What We Are Looking For

✔ Strong communication and customer service skills
✔ Detail-oriented and comfortable handling financial transactions
✔ Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
✔ Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn new software systems and databases
✔ Comfortable navigating computer systems and entering accurate information into databases and tracking spreadsheets
✔ Team-oriented with a community-focused mindset
Experience in administration, customer service, healthcare, nonprofit work, education, or public service is helpful.
Experience working with older adults is a plus.
Position Details
Part-time, non-exempt
Weekday daytime hours
High school diploma or GED required
Abilityy to lift up to 30 pounds
Reliable transportation required
