As our Registered Nurse, you'll oversee and coordinate the healthcare needs of youth in our residential programs while serving as an important resource for the staff supporting them every day.

Yes, there are medications, assessments, appointments, policies, and documentation.

But there's also something you don't get in every nursing position:

Time to build relationships.

You'll get to know the youth in your care. You'll learn what's normal for them and recognize when something isn't. You'll advocate for their medical needs, coordinate their care, educate the people supporting them, and help create an environment where their physical and emotional health are both taken seriously.

What Will You Actually Do?

You'll bring your nursing knowledge and clinical judgment to:

Build trusting relationships with youth while assessing and responding to their medical needs.
Provide medical triage and determine when additional evaluation or treatment is necessary.
Coordinate medical, psychiatric, and psychological appointments and services.
Oversee medication management, including safe distribution, storage, and destruction of prescribed medications.
Review medication errors and lead continuous quality improvement efforts.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation practices.
Develop and maintain health-related policies and procedures that support safe care.
Identify and appropriately report medical, safety, and public health concerns.
Provide supervision and oversight of the Health Services Department.
Serve as a nursing resource for program staff when medical questions or concerns arise.
Train staff in CPR, First Aid, Infection Control, and other health-related policies and procedures.
