Position: Production Technician
Compensation: $20-$25/hr
Position Type: Full Time, On-Site
Location: Billings, MT
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic hand tool skills
- Basic understanding of metal properties.
- Fundamental math and measurement skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and precision task execution.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
The Production Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects and contributing to our commitment of excellence. You will be responsible for the assembly and testing of system(s) & subassemblies that will be integrated into our line of cryogenic systems.
Role & Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the assembly, calibration, and testing of cryogenic systems.
- Collaborate regularly with other departments and with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in the kitting and building of product sub-assemblies, following established guidelines and procedures.
- Follow established procedures to ensure components, materials, and work areas meet quality standards.
- Gain hands-on experience in soldering techniques used in cryostat assembly.
- Support continuous improvement of existing products and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Perform additional duties as required.
