Part-Time Guest Relations Specialist
Luxury Salon & Spa | Fridays & Sundays Primarily
We are looking for an experienced, professional, and highly motivated Guest Relations Specialist to join our salon and spa team.
This is much more than a traditional receptionist position. While answering phones, scheduling appointments, and welcoming guests are important parts of the role, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in helping a business run smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, polished, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support our guests, service providers, and overall operation.
Our Guest Relations team plays an important role in creating an exceptional experience from the moment a guest contacts us through the completion of their visit. We are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative rather than waiting to be asked.
What You'll Do
- Warmly welcome guests and create a professional, friendly, and memorable experience.
- Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, schedule and manage appointments, and assist with check-in and checkout.
- Become knowledgeable about our salon, spa, and wellness services so you can confidently answer questions and make thoughtful recommendations.
- Promote services, packages, memberships, retail products, and gift cards based on each guest's individual needs.
- Help resolve guest concerns professionally, calmly, and with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Support service providers and coworkers throughout the day to help appointments and operations run smoothly.
- Assist with maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the salon and spa.
- Help with social media, promotions, marketing initiatives, and other business needs when appropriate.
- Look for opportunities to improve the guest experience, support the team, and contribute to the growth of the business.
Who We're Looking For

- Has previous experience in guest relations, hospitality, salon/spa, retail, or another customer-focused environment.
- Is professional, polished, warm, and confident when interacting with guests.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Understands that exceptional guest service often means going beyond the basic responsibilities of the front desk.
- Is a team player who is willing to help in any capacity needed.
- Takes initiative and sees what needs to be done without always needing direction.
- Is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Works well in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Is comfortable recommending and selling services, products, packages, and memberships.
- Has strong computer, email, and social media skills.
- Enjoys learning and is motivated by personal and professional growth.
- Brings positive energy, flexibility, professionalism, and a good sense of humor to the workplace.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with primary availability needed on Fridays and Sundays. Some additional weekday, evening, or weekend availability may occasionally be needed, and candidates who have flexibility to assist with additional shifts when necessary are especially appreciated.
