Job Summary:
We are a well-established and customer-focused liquor store currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager/Keyholder. This role involves supporting the owner in overseeing daily store operations, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with all applicable liquor laws and store policies. You will be responsible for opening or closing the store, supervising employees when needed, and maintaining an organized and well-stocked retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open/close the store and handle cash drawers/deposits according to established procedures
- Assist the owner with daily operations, support sales goals, and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence
- Guide team members and ensure they follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Provide friendly, professional customer service when assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and concerns
- Receive, verify, and organize incoming deliveries with the team
- Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and communicate restocking needs to management
- Maintain accurate product displays, pricing labels, and promotional signage
- Operate the POS and accurately handle customer transactions according to store policies
- Communicate effectively with management regarding daily operations and concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, customer service, or liquor store experience
- Previous supervisory or keyholder experience preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently when required
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift, carry, and stock cases of beverages and stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
Store Hours:
Mon-Sat: 9am-9pm
Sun: 10am-6pm
Currently, we are mainly looking for help during weekday mornings and afternoons, but flexibility is required.
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
