Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine hearing needs and evaluate auditory health status
- Fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing instruments to optimize performance and comfort for each patient
- Educate patients on device usage, maintenance, and care to ensure long-term satisfaction
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret medical records and ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding for accurate documentation
- Perform intake procedures, including collecting patient histories and explaining treatment options clearly
- Assist with pediatric hearing evaluations by applying specialized techniques suitable for children
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, device adjustments, and clinical findings in compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy related to the auditory system, and medical terminology
- Experience in patient service with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
- Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ICD coding and medical record documentation standards
- Knowledge of occupational health principles to ensure safe practices during fittings and evaluations

This is a 1099 position and will be paid a base commission rate. Must be able to work in Colorado without supervision.
