Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming.
- Monitor residents and observe for any health changes, promptly reporting concerns to nursing staff
- Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s by implementing personalized care plans and engaging in memory care activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control procedures
- Engage residents in social activities.
Requirements
- Prior experience in long-term care, nursing homes, assisted living, or home & community care settings is highly preferred.
- Experience assisting with ADLs .
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care techniques.
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to work 12 hour shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed .
