Fountain Valley School District is seeking a dynamic and collaborative leader to serve as Director of Student Services & Safety. Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, this Cabinet-level position provides leadership and oversight for student support services, including child welfare and attendance, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), social-emotional learning, and comprehensive school safety and emergency preparedness programs. The Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws; leading districtwide initiatives that promote student wellness, attendance, and positive behavior; and coordinating services that support the success of all students. This role serves as the District Safety Officer and Title IX Coordinator, collaborates with school sites and community agencies, and supervises assigned personnel while guiding the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that foster safe, supportive, and equitable learning environments.
