Preferred Minimum Qualifications

Performance Responsibilities
Monitors (Lunchroom / Playground / Crossing Guards) are on the Classified Salary Schedule
Employment Period
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Obtain First Aid/CPR training
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability and willingness to take directions
- Ability and willingness to meet the needs of students
- Excellent references including attendance and punctuality
To provide a clean and safe environment in the cafeteria, playground, or classroom for students by monitoring and enforcing appropriate student behavior, social interaction, cleanliness, and safe conditions.
Performance Responsibilities
- Clean cafeteria tables and assist in the maintenance of order in the cafeteria, playground, or classroom.
- Police playground area of unsafe hazards.
- Assist teacher in maintaining the cafeteria, classroom, and playground in a safe manner for students.
- Promoting positive student behavior and social interactions.
- Monitor and/or supervise the student behavior and safety in the cafeteria, playground, or classroom.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Basic operating knowledge of and experience with personal computers and peripherals.
- Basic operating knowledge of and experience with office software.
- Operating knowledge of and experience with typical office equipment, such as telephones, copier, fax machine, E-mail, etc.
- May require operating knowledge of computer networks and applications.
Monitors (Lunchroom / Playground / Crossing Guards) are on the Classified Salary Schedule
- These positions are considered HOURLY positions and do not qualify for experience pay increments.
- These positions are paid at the minimum of the Grade 1 pay Grade
