Outside Sales Representative - Building Material/Lumber

We're hiring an experienced Outside Sales Rep (2-8 years) to join our growing team at a full-service lumber yard and building material supplier in Central Alabama.

If you're an outgoing, relationship-driven salesperson who enjoys being in the field and working with contractors and builders, this is a strong opportunity with income stability high earning potential.

Role Highlights

·      Sell full line of lumber, millwork, building materials, and hardware to contractors, builders, and

remodelers

·      Build new customer relationships & grow existing accounts through site visits and consistent follow-up

·      Work with a large truck fleet and full lumber yard operation that supports fast, reliable deliveries

·      Represent a well-established supplier serving the entire Central Alabama mark

Requirements of the Outside Sales Rep

·      Minimum 2-8 years of proven outside/field sales experience (contractor or building materials sales

preferred, but not required)

·      Knowledge of Building Materials, Lumber and Millwork is a plus

·      Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills

·      Self-motivated hunter with a positive attitude

·      Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

·      Based in or willing to cover the Central Alabama territory (Greater Birmingham and surrounding areas)
